A Sinn Fein MLA has reacted angrily to claims that former Deputy First Minister and IRA "boss" Martin McGuinness directed the assassination of Lord Mountbatten almost 40 years ago.

Hardly a revelation, when looking at 'corporate' responsibility, although it does put a rather large hole in McGuinness' story that he left the IRA in 1974.

When asked if the murderous act was ultimately McGuinness' responsibility, Mr Conway replies: "That's right, yeah."

I'm sure that the ID of those responsibly has been known in some higher echelons since shortly after the event. As members of the powers that be they were in the position to do something about it and did nothing. Most likely all the others who took part are also known and the latest round of the powers that be are more interested in prosecuting army and police than bringing terrorists to justice because it does not suit the international socialist agenda. In the early nineties Roger Cook did an investigation into McGuiness and his involvement in the crimes of the IRA, including the use of proxy bombs and torturing suspected informers to death. He was not the type of person to worry about killing Children in the mainland campaign or Irish locals during the attack on Lord Mountbatten.

Why use the term 'assassination'? Plain cold murder - nothing else.
