Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Interesting views from an embedded C-Span journalist

    Vid 1

    Vid 2

Edited to add; Incidentally posted on youtube by the reporeter himself.

Thanks for posting that - David Axe's view that mobile over static is more frightening (but more effective) chimes exactly with the Fort Laramie style of USFOR ops in country generally.....what Kaplan calls 'the Big Army' approach to insurgency.

From a Brit perspective, the QRH style in Maysan has resonances both of Western Desert mobile columns and ( curiously) echoes of 14 Army's Burma campaign.

    Good stuff.

( and the comment on the first Vid ' I hate the American accent' says more about the poster than it does about the content of the videos)
