It was disturbing to watch Freeam muse over "What does RAMC stand for and what are those collar badges with the snake on the stick?"

The TA Centre in Hull looks like they had too much Cherry/ Old Gold and Royal Blue paint lying around plus to many MTDs to give out.

  3. I felt that aswell. However, it can't be expected that the whole population be able to spot all regimental capbadges.

The amount that my civilian friends know about the Army and the armed forces in general, is quite shocking. I'd be surprised if they could tell me the difference between officers and soldiers let alone regiments.
