Married Quarters in Southend-on-Sea - 1960s?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. My step-father was a Gunner Sarn't Major who was discharged in 1963 from, I think, the Depot at Shoeburyness.

I remember living in a flat for a short spell (it must have been largish because there were 4 children) next to a railway in Westcliff-on-Sea.

He's long dead so I can't ask him!

Can anyone remember these married quarters and their location? They might have been temporary quarters because I recall one very large room and not many bedrooms!
