Marketing / Sales Executive (Wolverhampton)

Job Salary: From £18,000 to £25,000 per annum additional OTE of £6,000, Company Car, Laptop, Mobile etc.


Interface NRM Ltd is a small but growing business professional services company providing ISO 9001 and 14001 certification services to clients. We have a rapidly expanding client base of more than 150 companies, and wish to continue this growth. We want an experienced business development and sales executive who can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets, and who has the ability to think strategically and help develop and deliver a marketing plan which must be realistic, effective and brings about immediate results. We are looking for a committed individual who can plan effective ways of identifying new clients, entry points, sales offerings, approaches and pitches, and is also not afraid to get their hands dirty with the hard graft of selling.

This role will be demanding but professionally satisfying, and where success will lead directly to senior management opportunities.
You will be working with and directly under the Operations Manager, and it is expected that you will have the gravitas and competencies to work with both the senior management of client organisations and with our Director, and also the drive and dedication to deliver against defined KPIs.

Candidates must be confident of presenting their previous key achievements, hands-on sales ability and capability to plan effective campaigns, at the interview stage.

Key responsibilities include:

• To be responsible for delivering sales and income-generation targets
• To manage sales staff to generate leads, appointments and sales opportunities.
• To attend appointments with potential clients to convert leads to sales.
• Develop and maintain the website to generate business opportunities.
• Production and distribution of marketing communication material e.g. newsletters, directory submissions, mailings, website copy, draft press releases.
• Working with the Director and Operations Manager to develop marketing plans and strategy.
• Coordinating effective marketing and sales approaches on a week by week basis.
• Blogging, website updates, Search Engine Optimisation.
• Attendance at networking events.
• Generating new business through active selling including tele-sales and appointment generation.
• Attending appointments with new and existing clients to secure contracts.
• Reporting regularly against targets/KPIs.
• Establishing excellent working relationships with existing and new clients.

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have proven marketing/business development experience within a professional services environment and possess the following key skills and experience:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• An ability to build and maintain credible working relationships at all levels.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients.
• The ability to work within tight timescales and remain calm under pressure.
• An effective and persuasive communicator.
• Enthusiastic attitude, high motivation and a positive can-do attitude.
• A team player who can also work alone if required.
