Hopefully Iraqi law - likely to be given the death penalty over there.

In my opinion, they should go to the war trials place in the hague. Lynch justice would be nice but could end up doing just what the murderers want, hang the wrong man or men and fuel the fire!

But it is nice to see that things are happening!!!!!!

Just on that detailed question: Actually no. Court detention facility operates to decent western standards - remember they are remand prisoners - but take a look at Milosevic's appearances. Self-possessed as he is, he only has the one suit - which he has reportedly been lending to another PIFWC who arrived without one.

The new pres is a lawyer and fully signed up member of the anti-death penalty coalition or whatever it is. He's stated he won't sign a death warrant for Saddam. Doesn't mean the rest of them won't though!

Forget the trial at the moment, there is an Australian about to suffer the same fate as Hassan. Lets just hope that these guys are linked, and they have remained an active cell, who with a little gentle persuasion can give up some intel, probably not much, but clues can lead to clues!
