Marathon runners

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. A message from the old fart WW

" Good luck to the ARRSERS running in the marathon today / tomorrow to raise funds and awareness.
To Maj Al Jarvis especialy, he is running for the ABF . Due to circumstances beyond his control he will be doing his marathon at Lashkar Gah, best wishes and God speed to you all"

I chose the NAAFI Bar for this , a; gets lots of exposure. b; WW is making no physical effort himself and deserves your ridicule.

Yeah, congrats to Maj. Jarvis, he's running 38 laps around where he is stationed at Lashkar Gah, in body armour et al.

  3. Well done Major. Hopefully the media picked up on it for a bit of positive spin..

  4. Good effort Major, as has been said, hopefully the media will pick up on it

  5. I'll second that and keep an eye out for Craig Lundberg who is running for St Dunstans, you may remember him from the poppy appeal launch. He lost his sight following an incident with a couple of RPG's in Basra and now works with blind and partially sighted children.
