Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone done this? Anyone know anyone thats done it?

The Jack Osbourne programme sparked interest the other night. 150 miles in six days over the Sahara in 110 degree temperatures carrying all you need to last the six days, all the race organisors provide is water, tentage for the stops, and limited medical care.
  2. Good old camp boy Ben Fogle has completed it, and I think a couple of arrsers have too....

Some of the accounts of it on the internet are very good, I'd recommend having a look at this one here
  3. MDN,

PM me and I will put you in contact with a colleague who did it last year.

  4. I know about a Dutch Commando who completed it.
    IIRC 2 years ago.
  5. Apparently 2007 / 8 is already full with limited space on the 2009 event
  6. It would take you until then to tie your shoelaces !
  7. No it wouldn't....... I'd do it in stilletoes..... and a turban
