http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-1218678,00.html A 60-year-old man has been arrested under the Honours Act, Scotland Yard has said. The man was arrested in Redbridge by the Specialist Crime Directorate. Sources said the man was not believed to be an MP or a Lord. An inquiry into the Honours system was originally launched in response to a complaint by Scottish and Welsh nationalist MPs that Labour had broken the law preventing the sale of honours such as peerages and knighthoods. It has since been widened to cover the activities of other parties.
