Making door handles?

Once you get an image of the handle, why not email it to bakelite door handle suppliers...they will perhaps know if a matching replacement is available and/or point you in the right direction.

Probably an easier IA than trying to reproduce your own.

Instead of making one to match, buy two matching ones.

Or visit the wood-turning thread and ask whether somebody would make you a dozen.

They look proper 'art Deco' about 1935 ish? I will have a look on Monday. The large 'Boot sales' are also good sources for such door handles/knobs etc.

Bakelite, is the most brittle stuff when it’s old? You are on a hiding to nothing. That is your first breakage!

(Unless it’s in your Motel and your Mothers room?)
