Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anybody read this yet? Is it any good?

  2. has it been verified or is it another "desert fire" walt book?

  3. The hype on the dust jacket recommended it as the best book since Bravo Two Zero which aroused my suspicions that it might just be (semi)fictional
    war porn.

  4. Seems okay. There is a website makingakilling.co.uk which has FAQs and lots of photos. Don't know if the events are real or not but they are not over the top so probably no reason to think it's fictional, and the photos say that the guy has definitely been there. There was a small amount of politics I really liked because even though I did not agree with them it is stuff you definitely don't hear in the news! It was a really good read actually, because before I didn't know anything about security contractors.

  5. Cheers Geoff.

  6. Thanks for that steer away, I thought B 20 was dog toffee so I won't bother.
