  1. I had the honour and privilige to attend the funeral service in Larkhill Garrison Church of Major (Retired) Douglas (Dougie) Naylor MBE who tragically passed away recently.
As a non-Gunner, I would just like to say that the Regiment did Dougie, Sheila and the family proud; it was a lovely service and the church was absolutely packed - an illustration of how universally respected Dougie was.
A lovely man, who will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of his company.
    RIP, mate.
  2. My God, old Dougie that is a real shame

  3. Dougie Naylor

    What an absolutely fantastic man

His family should be very proud of his contribution both as a Quarter Master and as a compassionate and effective welfare Officer

A real shame to lose someone this good

    Rip Dougie
  4. Well said.
  5. here here......a fine man......cared for my nearest and dearest when I deployed...delivered choccy eggs to kids too :D :D
  6. I also attended and felt that the numbers attending did justice to Dougie's popularity. Saw a number of faces that I hadn't seen in years.
  7. And respect to CO 14...I thought his tribute was spot on!!

    Well done sir
