Afraid not.

02.0419. Joint Purchase. Two or more Service applicants may not each obtain a LSAP for the joint purchase of the same property.

I wonder why ever not? It's not exactly a lot of money these days.

Might be for tax reasons, I know if you borrow more than 5k from LSAP you have to pay tax.
You're right though what does 8.5k get you even in a recession? The fees for the mortgage?

Where are you buying......Monaco?

My recent house purchase, legal fees £600 (Including searches), Mortgage broker £250.

That was for a £165K house.

Don't think I've missed anything?

Yes alright perhaps not that much.
Although the actually fee for the mortgage can be up to a couple of grand
