  1. Hi Guys,

Apologies if this post is in the wrong place- wasnt sure where to put it.

I'm looking for people to take part in some online research (this is university psychology/social research, not market research)- you have to be 14-35 years old and currently living in the UK. If this is not you, or you're not interested, please skip the rest!

My name is Clio Berry and I'm a student researcher at the University of Sussex. I'm doing some research about social inclusion and young people- i.e. the extent to which young people feel included in various aspects of their lives. I'm posting on here as I'm trying to attract people of diverse communities with diverse jobs/hobbies/interests/activities.

Here is a link to the questionnaire: Social inclusion and young people

This research has been approved by the University of Sussex Research Ethics Committee, is anonymous and takes less then 30 minutes. In return you can have my undying gratitude! I hope the results may also help to improve services for young people in the UK. The questionnaire will ask you about your social life, social network, opportunities, time use, self-beliefs. It will also ask you about your mental and physical health- just because past research suggests these things affect social inclusion- but these questions are voluntary.

Some of the questions may cause people to evaluate their lives, which some participants could find distressing, but any risk is seen to be minimal.

Please reply here or email me (c.berry@sussex.ac.uk) to ask questions or for more info.

I'm interested in young people, and very willing to be inclusive. Just don't tell my probation officer.
  4. Interesting comments....not really sure how to answer them though.........
  5. Given most of this lot are over 50, I'm not sure they're going to be overly helpful!
  6. Fair enough- I didnt realise- anyone who is in the age range, feel free to complete.

    Thank you.
  7. You cheeky ******! I'm nowhere near 40, let alone 50!
  8. She was talking stone, not your age!
  9. Cheers, fatty, give the game away, why don't you!!
  10. ahem pictures?
  12. Clio, do you have a brother?
  13. Oh and why did your parents call you after a cheap French car?

Poor girl. She obviously thought that someone would be sensible enough to assist her. I certainly would, were I not just outside the age range required (although, I can pass for 35 on a good day)

I think you should all stop being beastly to her and let her have some respectable answers.

Clio; you can have my e mail if you want.

  15. hmmm...given I have 67 in my name and so do you........ :policecap:
