    I thought they disappeared from nottingham?
  4. What he said
  5. If there was an Olympic race for claiming asylum they would have come nowhere. I seem to recall that they were well beaten to the medal positions by others who crossed the finsihing line much earlier, some before the games had even kicked off.
  6. Im sure its all a terrible misunderstanding.....
  7. They've been spotted living in a disused container near the Olympic Park and trawling for food in local supermarket bins. Their spokesman said "We've struck gold here - a luxury home and free food to boot - we could never had achieved this dream in Cameroon"

  11. For sure, as is;

    - Creative excuse making as to why they would be in mortal danger if sent home
    - Sprinting to the benefits office
    - Free house hunting
    - Finding the nearest GP and NHS bottomless pit
    - Lining up the same for your extended (and extensive) family before they clear Heathrow who are already there and waiting

    Probably many other events for them too.
  12. It set me thinking if I was an olympic competitor which country, that hosted an olympic games, would I abscond in?

    I'd pulp for Barbados, now if only they could be persuaded to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
  13. Yes, but Tia Sharp has that one in the bag.
