I am a bit of a fan of home cinema, a couple of years ago I ventured into the world of "smart" remote controls. The remote people were raving about was the Phillips Pronto, now I come from a comms background and do not consider myself a mong. I found the pronto a real pain in the ring to program, it was supposed to be pleasureable and make life easier. After p"&*ing about with it for a couple of years I decided to mag to grid. I have just treated myself to a Logitech Harmony 1000 remote, (currently £200 from Amazon) and it is a stunning piece of kit. Definately recommended, the only problem with it is that it has to go away for father Christmas to bring back for me on the 25th.
