Hi My when my wife came home last night from MASS/CHURCH she bught the little newsletter that they publish and in it was a small poem I thought you might like. You walk along enjoying the view He walks the streets searching insurgants and terrorists You complain how hot it is He wears heavy gear not daring to take his helmet off to wipe his brow You go out to lunch and complain the restaurant got the order wrong He doesn't get to eat today Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes He wears the same things for weeks but makes sure his weapons are clean You go to the mall and have your hair done He doesn't have time to even clean his teeth today Your'e angry because your class ran five minutes over time He told you that he will be held over for a further two months You call your fiance and make a date for tonight He waits for the mail to see if there is a etter from home You roll you eyes when a baby cries He get's photo's of his new child and wonders if they will ever meet You hear jokes about the war and make fun of men like him He hears the gunfire, bombs and the screams of the wounded You see only what the media want you to see He sees the broken bodies lying around him You are asked to go to the shops by your parents. You don't He does exactly what he is told even if it puts his life in danger You stay at home watching TV He takes whatever time he is given to call home, sleep and eat You crawl into your soft bed with soft pillows and get comfortable He tries to sleep but gets wakened by mortars and helicopters all night REMEMBER OUR TROOPS. DO NOT FORGET THEM. LEST WE FORGET.
