I'm not LI but a mate was and we're mates with a group of EFDSS (English Folk Dance and Song Soc) so it may be a good addition to their archives - how much?

From what I have gleaned... You're ex Int Corps aren't you?
So, unless you're asking a rhetorical Q to ascertain what I know, I'll admit to the following:
1) I cannot answer that Question
2) Your guess is as good as mine*
*Except I'm RE so probably correct - is Lincolnshire Poacher the Int Corps March cos you hang out with vegetables and small furry animals?

When the Corps was being established some staff officer was probably tasked with finding a march. He may have been from one of the regiments that had that tune as theirs, or perhaps he liked it, or perhaps he found a 'Book of Choons' and picked one one out. Who knows, who cares? and yes I was Int Corps for the first 15 years of my 27 years of Service
