Lib Dems - remember them?

I can't help thinking that government in this country is becoming more like the Italian model and in the not too distance future we will be having an election every 6 months.

Brian Paddick tweeted that Lib Dems had the benefit of an expert on policing :police:. I tweeted back a query as to who that would be, seeing as his grandstanding drugs amnesty had increased crime in Lambeth and the borders of surrounding boroughs.
:banned: I'm blocked, and I didn't even ask him why he wasn't charged due to allowing his partner to do drugs in his home, was he the only copper at Brixton who didn't know what cannabis smelt like?.

Apparently this creature could be the new Lib Dem leader, although her credentials have been slightly damaged by an apparent penchant for domestic abuse. I suspect that the Lib Dems are not scheduled for a return from the wilderness any time soon so, should they go down the psycho route in order to fulfil their constitutional role to provide the light entertainment in British politics?

I have no idea, I struggle to see what the libdems even are...neither fish nor fowl it seems, Labour lite or Tory lite, take your pick. What I do know though is that they are the most unprincipled bunch of tossers ever, never mind throwing students under the bus when they got a sniff of the top table, they are now saying that anybody who voted for Brexit can join them under the bus as long as there is a chance that they can suck some other cock....*******.

Her Father has been an EU drone for 35-odd years, she is privately educated......see a pattern?

Lib Dems open disciplinary investigations into Kevin McNamara's tweets

Politics Live. Ed Davey want's people to vote tactically to keep Boris out or in a minority. Jo coburn says so by deduction you must prefer Jeremy Corbyn? No he says...
Iain Dale points out the huge drop in support for Lib Dems; people aren't liking their message or Jo Swinson.
Re revoke Brexit, Davey says it depends who gets in to government and that clearly it looks like Corbyn is far away from that. As the sound was being faded for the show ending he admitted that there was no chance of Lib Dems getting a majority gov't. Desperately trying to be relevant. In the time he was on the show, the panel seem unconvinced. Some looks of wtf?

I wonder is old Snoozy is going to make a political comeback?

Lib Dems now have to find a new leader and somehow convince the electorate that they are relevant.
Looking at this list, it seems a hopeless task. Lib Dem Leadership: Runners and Riders -
The main candidates are completely barking. The most capable leaders they had are dead, retired or in the HoL.
Will they try drawing in arch remainer Ms Miller, even though she supposedly doesn't want to be a politician?
Will the public ever trust them again? Do we care? Will a new party emerge in it's place?

And having Merkel the EU dictate who our prime minister is whenever it suits them...

Disagree. We finally have a parliament that the people want that will hopefully deliver a meaningful Brexit. If Boris fails, it won't be another election, it will be civil unrest.
The Remaintards are now a busted flush. They will bleat on about another referendum or election, but they have no means of achieving one, as it is fully clear that the public would not let that happen.
