Liam "No Money Left" Byrne suspended for bullying

Poked the Jarrod button, nowt came up.

Seems Liam Byrne of Labour has been found "doing a Berkow" and bullying his staff. Lost in the faff of porngate but comes on the same day that it is revealed that a load of lies seem to have been told by Starmer and Rayner about her presence at the not-party - exposing a whole load of new hypocrisy,

So, is mainstream British politics wholly corrupt or is there a way to row back from the kindergarten that the Commons currently appears to be...? I despair personally but it seems that plumbing the depths of the gutter seems to be the way these days rather than actually having any policies (noting that it's voting day in less than a week)...

Obviously fake news. It’s only Conservative MP’s that are capable of being bullies.

Yep. Not a word about Mr Byrne or Sir Keir and Angela’s indoor lockdown party on the Beeb this morning.
Mind you, for balance, they did lead on the Tory MP losing his Party Whip over ‘Porngate’.
As for corruption at Westminster, it’s always been there to some extent, it’s just not as obvious as in other countries.
One thing I would love to see introduced asap is a ruling that no MP is allowed to bring an I-phone or any other device into the House, when it is in session. It has always annoyed the hell out of me to see MPs looking at their phones instead of listening to the person addressing the House. Totally disrespectful imho.
You are meant to be at work, so leave the devices outside, in a secure locker or something.

The whole bloody thing was designed for the wars of 1815, amended for the social upheavals of industrial Britain in 1832 and has been virtually the same ever since. Long past its shelf life with its systems design rotten to the core and its members becoming stagnant. It is nothing more than a stepping stone into a cushy number for a bunch of pompous public schoolboys - very much in the way the Army used to be.........if you could supply your own horse.

Time for change, time for some professional politicians that can provide a 24/7 service to the public they rely upon for their slavishness.

I'd like to see politicians who are professional, but not "professional politicians" if you see what I mean...;)

In Abbotts defence - It is critical instructions being passed to her

Breath in

Breathe out

Breath in

Define 'Bullying'
I suspect it has changed considerably from what we knew it as.
