LGBT Poppies?

It's amusing to think that the so-called woke generation are unable to understand that once you wear the green, we are all t

And the Sacred Band?
A formidable bunch of warriors iirc.
It all rather goes to prove that orientation has bugger all to do with martial prowess - as you point out, once youre in HM forces you are a soldier, airman, sailor etc. Not a gay member of the armed forces, but a member of the armed forces who happens to be gay. Prove oneself a person who can be relied on to do a good job and uphold values and standards and what one gets up to with consenting adults behind closed doors is nobody's business.

From the FAQ. You are right. It doesn't say only Scots living in Scotland though. I know a few non Scots or new Scots living here.
Not many sane non Scottish people are going to live there though.

What do you mean, "behind them always" is the motto of the current Poppy Scotland™ campaign, nothing to do with any regiment or unit. Popy Scotland used to be the Lady Haig organisation before that the Earl Haig Fund, they have done poppy sales for the RBL's campaign here for about a century.

I wonder what the reaction would be if wearing a badge to identify your tendencies, sexual or otherwise became mandatory?
Corbyn would be in favour if Yellow badges were brought back for the Jews

They will need the support of this bit then.

Where does the money go?
Poppyscotland uses money raised to provide support to the Armed Forces community in seven key areas: Tailored support and funding, Advice, Employment, Mobility, Respite, Housing and Mental health. You can find out more about each of these areas by clicking here. All money raised in Scotland is spent in Scotland.

Great. You just had to say it, didn't you? Now, look what you've done:

Complete with snowflakes to tick a few more woke boxes ...
I realised as I typed that post that there was probably a need for a LGBTX pink/rainbow version of Rule 34 (if you can think of it there is internet porn of it).

Many moons ago Airbus Deutschland wanted to easily identify teams* The Idea was we would all have coloured badges - Triangles , squares, circles. German Management types seriously make no connections**. Ultimately it never materialised - Ive often wondered if somebody was brave enough to point out the obvious.

*Simply because they wanted to be able shout at people on the wrong aircraft or know who to report you to if they saw you at the coffee machine.

** ( All from Airbus Deutschland )
1) Alerting us to job cuts but assuring us there would be no redundancies. Then informing us the new shower blocks were built
2) Being give a rework order - we realised it to would clash with structure - pointed out that repeated rework risked damaging cables - only to be promised that tomorrow we would have the final solution.
3) Instructing us that we need permission from team leaders to leave the aircraft except at designated break times - To be fair several German team leaders did point out that this was a bad idea - they had lots of brits and as such there life would be hell. As you can imagine by 9.30 most team leaders were in hiding with phones turned off - having suffered a morning of lavatorial requests and in the case of some - progress reports on the associated process - by 10 am it was abandoned.

They have 2 rugby team ones, Sale Sharks and Bristol Bears. (Although Wasps are advertised all over FB has having a pin, but not available on the Poppy Shoop website)
Bugger, spoils my joke a bit.

Missed that, despite searching. But anyway, WTAF? just devalues the whole thing, getting people to buy them because of the team connection. Regimental ones are different in my opinion because there is a connection to the original purpose.

Also have you noticed, no big teams like Man U or Liverpool, but they have the minnows such as Acrrington Stanley and Crawley Town.
Hadn't noticed, but as I am not a follower of the game I hadn't paid much attention to which teams were available.

Nothing to do with old Pals battalions is it? I know Accrington had one, but never heard of a Crawley pals battalion.

The whole Rainbow Flag agenda is based on the concept of Hypernormalisation.
It's been used before, in the Soviet Union.

There's also an agenda to distract the Working People, using Political Correctness.
It's been employed via the Common Purpose organisation.

It works both ways.

DG Bank was a client of mine. I went to see Ulf, the IT honcho.

I had metal inserts on the heels of my shoes which made a racket on their tiled floor.

Ulf said “Your shoes are very noisy Ted”.

I was just about to reply with “Yes. I sound like an SS Division on the march” but the angels held my tongue. For once!

WTF has the rainbow flag got to do with hypernormalisation? If anything, the LGBTQ+ campaigns for attention make the world seem more complex, not appear simpler.

You fecking irritating conspiraloon.

Read Everything was Forever, until it was No more by Alexei Yurchak.
He also describes it on Youtube.

I love the smell of fried synapses in the morning.
Everyone competed in parrot fashion to be the most socialist.
Now everyone competes, in parrot fashion to be the most socially liberal.

It's just history rhyming.
