Also not the "SA80 SAA" course, but "AASAA (short)" - you're not taught the subject matter, but how to teach it. The qualification allows you to teach any small arms weapon system provided you have the PAM for it and have an in-date WHT for that system.
As for content, "failure to prepare is preparing for failure" on this one. Everything you need to know is in the PAMs. You'll be preparing two lessons a night for the next day, and may not even teach. The next evening, another two lessons for the following day.
There'll be some sort of modular subject thrown in - ours was the CMCQ (for those who didn't have it already) but it's probably changed and could well include the M qual (pyro) etc.
