Was watching the video below, a clip from the Italian documentary film Addio Africa, when something caught my eye as bizarrely out of place. At 7mins 43sec a logo can be seen on the sign of a vehicle. It looks a bit Stars & Stripes-ish so I'm guessing it may have been old WW2 era lend lease. Can anyone confirm that and if it was, have any idea how it could have ended up in the Congo? I'm guessing the men in that clip are Mike Hoare's outfit, but again can't be sure. Nothing behind this, but sheer curiosity.

I watched that in Aldershot, late 67 or early 68. Not a real film more a 'Events Documentary'.
Seem to remember they wasted a load of Vultures. Set up a pile of explosives, covered with dead animals then when Vultures got tore in blew the flock up.
