Legal Advice

a soldier was knocked unconcious while out of camp. Spent some time in hospital and were on leave for some time. Turns out it was another soldier. Completley unprovoked. What now? If he's discharged, do the Army still take action (other than the discharge).
Serious injuries sustained, some of which have not healed months later.

Police have records and such...they say they are waiting for the victim to get better before a charge is brought against the offender. Is this the correct procedure?

What happens thereafter e.g. Compensation, md perhaps, media etc

Any contacts would be appreciated.

You say that, but are you sure that the victim didn't look at the alleged assailants pint in a covetous manner?
