Left Sided Weakness

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to increase the strength on the left side of my body. Basically I had 2 discs removed in 2001 after 14 years of coping with back problems. The Army did the usual 2 weeks physio & back to normal PT.

Until now, I never noticed any problems. I quite happily run every day, even with weight and can do pressups etc. I went swimming this morning and I had nothing in the left side, arm, legs, obliques. I ended up doing the side stroke because of this.

Any tips & suggestions (sensible) would be appreciated. Off to see my physio next week - paid for by me again.
