LE PENSIONS

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone know who long you would have to serve as LE to be elligable for a Officers pension? is it 5 or 6 years?

  2. You have to serve for 5 years as an Officer once comissioned.

If you fail to do so and have done over 22 years pensionable service, then you well get an immediate WO1 pension.

If you fail to do so and have not done over 22 years pensionable service, then you get a preserved WO1 pension, payable at 60 !!

    Hope this helps !!
