Law In Action

Available on the "Listen Again" feature.

Reasonably balanced, with comments from Tim Collins, a brigadier who's name escaped me, but I'm still grinding my teeth at the comments by Phil Shiner.

He's a lawyer and might be litigious, so I'll keep my opinions to myself. ......

Brig Lorimer, Comd 12 Mech. Seemed quite taken aback by the assertion that some soldiers might have difficulty understanding the ROE...

Colonel Collins of the "Royal Irish Guards" FFS....

When the State Broadcasting Corporation can't get a simple thing like this right in a serious supposedly researched piece, what hope is there for any fair treatment of any Army/MoD issues?

ROE are pretty clear You can use lethal force if you feel threatened . Mod reserves the right to drag you through the courts at a later date for political purposes/or just for a laugh seems pretty clear to me
