Latest snowflake outrage

Well that's going to spoil the mood of the outrage mob, they were in full swing, huffing and puffing about a Daily Mail article.
Spoil? Not at all, it confirms RNLI taken over by PC zealots.

RNLI said:
]But to be clear – [1.] we simply will not tolerate lifeboats being taken for joyrides in rough weather without full crew.
[2.] We don’t accept that hard core, graphic pornography has any place at a lifeboat station.
[3.] We will not tolerate threats of violence towards our volunteers or staff.
[4.] We will not stand for bullying or aggressive behaviour.
1."Rough weather" - I imagine a snowflake with a BA Grievance Studies classes anything above Force 1 wind as rough

2. The mugs were discovered in a cupboard - so not on open display
“Two of the crew are women and told the managers that they were not offended. It’s overkill by the RNLI.” - RNLI crew not snowflakes and understand banter
“The investigation focused on the production of inappropriate material of a sexual nature" - pure PC speak
From: telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/05/03/rnli-volunteers-sacked-dispute-mugs-adorned-naked-women/

hard core, graphic pornography - really?
Sally Bercow in a sheet must be hard core, graphic pornography too then. Shame on BBC & Guardian for exposing children to offensive images.

3. That's new - what was it? I will put you over my knee and spank you if.... ?

4. I'd say bullying and aggression aka forceful leadership essential on an RNLI rescue.

Not so long ago, before the age of political correctness, British people approached “gender politics” in a mature and balanced way. They could distinguish between jokes & innuendo vs belittling, between flirtation and intimidation, and observed traditional courtesies such as holding doors open for women and "women & children first". A pity if all this disappears just because a group of humourless sour pusses say it must.

.
Anyone defending the Left SJW's self-enriching ruination of a valuable service using pettifogging defences should hang their heads in shame. Saving lives is more important than PC political games.

To have mass resignations at one lifeboat station might be considered unfortunate, but to suffer at least seven such cases in a period of around 18 months is somewhat more worrying.

That's a lot of words just to cover your embarrassment that you believe the shite the Daily Mail prints.

These are the responsibilities of a trustee/director of a charity. Good luck with finding someone to do that for free for a charity with net assets of £750 million

The essential trustee: what you need to know, what you need to do

I'm curious to know why two people disagree with this statement of mine. You do realise that taking on the duty of a trustee exposes you to criminal liabilities if you abrogate any of your responsibilities?

Taking on the leadership of a charity worth 3/4 of a billion pounds with income of 200 million a year is a bit more complicated than shaking a tin outside Asda on a Saturday afternoon.

Re: RNLI back office.
Just to give some an idea of what is literally around the corner:

Having AI work with numbers and allocations was the easy bit, Interface it with a database and company rules. The bit being perfected right now is having it co-ordinate human element. They seem to be moving along leaps and bounds.
AI will be able to run multi-million pound anything, removing the need for ideologically driven centralized and costly back orrifice (full stop).

Hell, it could even be used in all the places we see money wasting and virtue signalling, Starting with Westminster.

With all the extra time on our hand's thanks to AI and automation, we can double down on the art of silencing the lunatics of PC dogma.

Oh wait....

Put this on the wrong thread earlier. Bloody snowflake that I am by apologising.

It seems you can't open a paper nowadays without yet another snowflake moaning about something or other.
Just today some head of an examination board reckons the Maths CGSE should be scrapped as it's too difficult for the "less abled" to pass. Isn't that what exams are supposed to be all about?

Anyhoo, a couple of vegan/veggie snowflakes were encountered on my recent holiday (one Brit and one American just to show how globalised they are now).
Going across in Club class with TUI, a vegan woman didn't want the veggie option (pasta with mushroom sauce) so the steward asked if she'd like a rice with tomato and cheese sauce. Oops, the cheese bit almost sent her into convulsions. OK, then, how about rice with just the tomato sauce? OK but she refused to have it heated in the same ovens the beef and chicken dishes were in (you get proper china plates in club).
Fine, she took a banana and a tangerine for her starters.
The next complaint was that her food was served after almost everyone else had finished eating. But she didn't want them heated at the same time as the beef and chicken so had to wait until they were done. Not very happy as if an aeroplane has a bank of ovens in which to heat everything.

Next was the American veggy. There was a Mexican buffet at the hotel which was brilliant. About 20 stalls with different items you could choose from. Salad bars, roasted root vegetables with palm, carrots and anything you could think of.
Nope, not happy as there was no fish option (there was a Mexican fish stew but not happy). Loads of tacos and tortillas you could stuff with a mega load of veggies if you wanted.
Hubby comes up with plate piled high with suckling pig, steaks, tortillas with pork and cheese, a very nice pasty (I had one) with corn pastry filled with pulled pork and cheese plus loads of the potato salad, other salads and veg.
She did nothing but moan while he stuffed his face and she wouldn't even try one of the 20 or so cakes and desserts on offer.

They then left and went to a fish restaurant where, I assume, he sat and watched her tuck into a mercury filled dorada or something.

A bag of peanut dust is what you need, better coverage for little effort.

The allergy spaz population are meant to Die off to thin the herd. Nature is cruel but wise.

Just a couple of things, If I'd paid the premium for Club Class and ticked Vegan on the section of the booking form that asks if the passenger has any dietary needs I'd be a bit miffed if I wasn't given the meal option I'd requested after all that's what paying extra is for. If you met a veggie who wasn't happy about the fish option you didn't actually meet a veggie just someone who may prefer fish to red meat, the clue is in the term vegetarian.

The vegan option was pasta and mushroom sauce. She didn't want it.
I've met loads of people who class themselves as vegetarians but eat fish. I suppose they should call themselves pesco-vegetarians. (as opposed to pesky vegetarians).

People who eat fish aren't vegetarians. Fish are not vegetables. You should point this out to them at every possible opportunity.

If you lived on a diet of vegetarians would that make you a meta vegetarian ?
No you daft sod, thats what happens when you go to a gathering of people who don't eat meat. When you attend such a gathering you can then declare that 'you met-a vegetarian'.........

I'll get my own coat if someone could summon me a taxi. Thanks.
I'm here all week, try the veal.

More snowflake outrage!

Bank of England's Broadbent apologizes for 'menopausal' remark

Some bloke has likened the economy to the menopause and a load of feminists are outraged.
Have you never heard of the male menopause, Ms Wollaston?

“Enough of this pejorative tosh stigmatizing women in their prime,” Conservative lawmaker Sarah Wollaston said on Twitter.
“#Menopause only a problem if others try to sideline you because of ignorant prejudice.”

It's blatantly sexist and I am outraged!

You said the rice and mushroom was a vegetarian option vegans and vegetarians aren't the same thing if the sauce contained cream it isn't vegan. If you were Jewish and they plopped a gammon steak on your plate would you think I best not be a snowflake and complain or would you think TUI were taking the piss.

On longhauls, I play the Yid card.
The nosh comes after everyone else's, but I plan for that, having had a decent steak before departure.
My meal arrives last, lest somebody says 'Can I have what he is having'

Delta now give out roasted almonds instead of peanuts due to this cack.

I thought nut allergy refered to all nuts(including vegans?) not just peanuts?Could this be construed as discrimination against peanuts? Sorry I am rambling again time for meds.
