Latest snowflake outrage

Not every claim of racism is "snowflake outrage", it can still be true sometimes, you don't have to be a supporter of the BLM movement to be able to acknowledge this.
In this case she is saying that the snob percentage in the monied side of classical music is exclusionist, both on grounds of race & class.
In this case i can well believe it's true.

The closest would be an award ceremony........something like the MOBO Awards :)

There would also have been classical gigs in Soviet Russia, with more communists in the crowd than at any CND or Rock Against Racism gig. I doubt there were many black faces in the audiences.
Apart from those who left the USA to live and work in the new socialist workers paradise and promptly found out is was anything but.

IIRC it took one about 40 years to get out after managing to get into the USA embassy

There's some kind of mass delusion going on where this country has been deemed to be " too white " , its not even logical , as time goes on this is getting more and more illogical and ridiculous, now we have people basically apologising for our entire culture dating back centuries for not including ethnic minorities who have never lived here before 1950.

It's ok we can start demanding reparations from Italy for the Roman Invasion and Africa for the Barbary pirates, then there is the matter of the Vikings, the Angles, the Saxons....

That's not what she is commenting on, but on the inner workings of the classical music scene, which often does seem like it only wants a certain type of person, much like a guards officiers mess.

This woman married Simon Rattle, a very well known classical music conductor. Any connection to racist classical music obviously passed by her at that time.
She calls herself a political activist, this could suit an agenda she may have. This 'story' has come from her perception that because someone apparently asked her about her connection to the Barbican she was somehow unwelcome and should not have been there. Without knowing the whole story and if indeed it actually happened, we'll never really know.
Married the rich Simon Rattle who will help my career?

A Twitter dispute between Sainsbury's and a potential customer has broken out after a miscommunication involving the name 'Karen'.
Perfect Karen example:

Neighbour from hell: Ex army officer faces £23,000 bill after tirade of abuse against neighbours - The Sunday Post

In fairness Karen Russell said:” It’s all been lies. I think this has been done to get me out of my property. I’m ex military police, an ex army officer. The sheriff has taken the decision to take the word of two unemployed eastern Europeans over me.” :boogie::judge:
