Hardly stolen and it took nearly 10 years of work by Wilkins and others to prove Crick and Watson's model (see wiki entry) however the decision not to grant her a Npbel Prize posthumously has rankled the science community for decades.
IIRC Nobel Prizes aren’t awarded posthumously regardless of merit?

I thought the Scots are the Irish, or is it the other way round?
Scots* were supposed to be Irish and originally the term only really applied to the people of the West coast of Scotland, Argyle Lochaber etc. and Ireland itself.
The Romans called Ireland Scotia.
