While flicking through the September Soldier mag at the Med Centre today I noticed on Page 37 that DAG, one of our very few late-REME Generals, was wearing AGC rank slides and an AGC lanyard (didn't catch the stable belt but I have my suspicions) whilst chatting to troops about JPA. Does this contravene Corps Instructions (one embellishment only) and has he transferred or has he 'gone native'? I don't recall any of his predecessors as DAG or even AG wearing anything but their parent cap-badge and regalia. What kind of a message does it send to the Corps? I think we should be told.
