Did anyone alse spot the obvious parallel in last nights Spooks and the De Menezes shooting? One of the characters, Adam, was told a terrorist was about to detonate a bomb and armed officers believed they had identified him, but weren't 100% sure and had a shot. It was up to him to make a split second decision wether they could open fire or not. He gave the order and the terrorist was killed. I though this was actually good TV as it showed the kind of situation that can arise and the presures those making the decisions can be put under. It was like the program makers were showing us the other side of the story and backing the Police officer who made the decision on thre day.
