Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I am seriously considering having the procedure with Accuvision, Solihull. Does anybody have any experience of this company, (good, or more importantly, bad) or indeed the procedure in general?

Standing by, braced and prepared for the Wahs........ :!:
  2. No & No.

But I have had laser treatment for short sightedness. I had it done in 1995 when they used a different procedure, instead of cutting a flap in the protective layer to lift up and then laser the eye, they just scraped it all off with a scapel. The procedure I had is technically better but it takes longer to do and to recover from which would mean less punters through the door. Still when I had it done only hospitals in london, Manchester & leicester did it.
I can say it was the best thing I ever did tho.
