LA's revolting. Literally.

You didn't need any amplifying information beyond the thread name.

A part of the problem is California is a sanctuary State. If one can make it there from South of the of the US border then you're in and no fear of arrest from local law enforcement. However the problems begin with lack of housing and what is available is well beyond the price range of a lot of people.

Coupled with a lack of jobs and overcrowding things are not going to get better anytime soon. I reckon California must be wondering if becoming a sanctuary State was such a good idea after all.

Yep, and all those chickens coming home to roost are going to need housing too.

I understand San Francisco is suffering from streets filled with human excrement. Metaphorically and literally.

A lot of people of the snowflake type are leaving California and bringing their daft ideas with them. Unfortunately for them the places they are heading to such as Colorado and Oregon are fast becoming like California.

We had a young family move from Colorado to our nearest town. They lasted about two years and packed up and headed out somewhere else. The problem for them was none of the locals put up with their $h!t, they made to so many snowflake type complaints that even the town council and the Sheriff's department got fed up with them and told them to do one.

Various diseases breaking out in L.A.due to the piles of rather fetid stuff on the streets.

That's what you get when the Democrats run California into the ground and have been doing so for decades. Nobody wants to pay taxes, infrastructure is falling to bits as a result, and as a consequence of that, folks are actually leaving California quicker than they're moving in.

Rich Hall did a good documentary on the state a while back, "Rich Hall's California Stars". It covers many of the reasons why California is so screwed up and should be available on your favourite hoist the jolly roger sites.

LA of the 2010s looks far, far, far worse than the grimy, dilapidated New York City of the 1970s. It may seem like a pipedream, but eventually the populace will say "enough" and will elect an Angelino version of Rudy Giuliani.

Getting advice from Mutti may not have been the best option to take.
