"I've got the biggest...... pishing competetion!"

Can anyone hazard an educated guess at the largest (Number of soldiers, not waist size!) Regiment in the Army today?

Starter for ten, 11 EOD Regt Unit strength (on paper) = 862

Judging by pub research, the SAS: there were 47,820 men at Princes Gate alone.

Any of the infantry regiments will be larger than that as they are all(?) multi battalion entities now.

Who cares, as by 2015 they'll be at least 4 more regiments binned :-(

Ok, I don't mean "The Regiment of..." I mean a Regiment with one RHQ.

MB, I doubt 1, 2 or 6 are manned at that level anymore? 11 Regt have been told their the biggest in the RLC (After 9 Supply).
