Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. FYI...Marines to storm Texas Hill Country!!

  2. I stopped doing that when I was 12, but then I'm not a military obsessed overweight Yank with a uniform fetish. :D
  3. Who are these fellows? Ex-MLB jocks?

  4. (It's yer 'tooth' that's looser)

  5. It reads like Marines will be portraying Marines.
The Japanese "soldiers" will be Japanese "re-enactors"

Maybe no "military obsessed overweight Yank(s) with a uniform fetish"

So you're safe to go. You know you want to
  6. "veteran re-enactors"? That's just asking for misunderstanding. Oh, I see, that's the idea... The services are pretty well open to anyone, so why don't these characters do it for real if they get so aroused by military things?

I drove onto Kemble airfield last summer and found myself surrounded by big green trucks and fat, unmarried, middle-aged men swaggering around under maroon helipads, I wish to god I'd had my camera with me. I'll bet not one of them had ever held a MOD90. Funny as fcuk.
  7. saw the d day re enactmeant in new orleans best bit was when some bloke playing a nazi got upset cos some gi had dented his mauser ended up getting rifle butted .harmless loonies for the most part
  8. Youre quite sure theyre re-enactors and not just actors that haven't finished yet? 8O
  9. Can one ever be sure? 8O
