Her 33-year-old brother has admitted three charges of perverting the course of justice, including one relating to the incident in The Causeway, near Thorney, at 10:03 BST on 24 July last year.

Surely just take her license, crush the car and give he a big fine and then slam the lying cow inside for perverting the course of justice. No allowance for fessing up either so at least a 12 month stretch?

I'm starting to wonder whether this case could break records for the shortest time spent in a jury room. There was a case in America where a bloke murdered another bloke in front of numerous witnesses, some of whom were police officers. I think there's film of the murder on YouTube.

He pleaded not guilty too, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. The jury spent all of about 5 minutes in the jury room before trooping out and agreeing that the accused was indeed not guilty. Apparently the dead bloke had raped and murdered the other bloke's child.

I do believe that American judges can set aside perverse verdicts like this but, for some reason, the judge in this case chose not to do so. Perhaps it was in Texas and the judge was up for re-election.

You old softie, maximum sentence is 14 years, maybe a 10 stretch in Holloway would do her good.

One thing that really, really pisses off Judges in this country is the wasting of court time. Sure , everyone is entitled to a fair trial but this bint seems to think that as an MP she is mega special and that the witness box is really just another version of the back benches where she can gob off with impunity and at great length.
Methinks Missy is in for one hell of a shock come verdict time.
Note to self-buy Butterkist shares when the markets open.

Going through the court exchange yesterday it seems the defendant became interested in politics after the Mark Dugan riots in 2011, hardly a good reason.

She was elected as a councillor 2013, which in any book is a bloody fast path in to politics.

By 2015 she was Dep leader of the council, bloody hell we are now motoring.

In 2017 she was selected to stand as MP for Peterborough, which she won.

So from no or very little interest in politics she becomes an MP in 6 years, now either she has been promoted far to fast above and beyond due to her sex and colour or she is well suited to it. Now that she admits that she struggled and was over whelmed when she became an MP suggest its the first.

Well done Labour, more tokenism, hows that working out?

Pretty well.

She must have thought the police wouldn't investigate further when they didn't get a reply from who she claimed was the driver, which is so dumb. That she'd already been done speeding and got off by attending a course she then trys someone else was driving?

To claim someone else who is not related to you, doesn't live at your address and is a completly different culture is so stupid, even the most dumb plod would go wait a moment, that you are a MP at the same time would just make the red lights flash.
Has the court asked her yet, how someone who used to live at her address, isn't known or related to her just happened to be driving her car that night? If she's the best Labour have . . . .
