Want to buy an old sword, a cavalry sabre perhaps?
An old dress sword, cutlass etc?

Well it's too late. As predicted, Labour have banned the manufacture, sale or import of all swords with a curved blade unless you are in a re-enactment group or theatre.

Theres a big problem with cutlass wielding madmen in the UK these days then or is it another liarbour attempt at government that is ill thought out and crass. Hmmm let me think.....

All they need to do now is ban beards, peglegs and west country/yorkshire accents and they will have got those pesky pirates good and proper.

But seriously, these laws only stop people who want to use the gun/sword/whatever in a perfectly legal application (target shooting or as part of a collection), why would some one planning to kill someone else stop and think, "Oh, best not, having a sword of this type is illegal"?

but pastarfarians as part of out religion need to dress up as pirates on fridays
how can we do that without cutlasses

What a crock of sh1t.

A pointless and unnecessary piece of legislation.

We already have more than adequate law to cover this.

Ah but there you miss the point, the laws covering swords etc were passed pre 1997 ie before Year Zero and therefore are not relevent under this new psuedo Marxist government.

This is insane...a specific law ammendment for the following:

making it illegal to own/sell a curved sword of over 50cm unless it was made in Japan or you have a costume and your mates get together every second weekend.

It's like ammending the traffic laws to include:

It is illegal to run a red light in a car over 2m long with headlights unless it was made by a small Belgian company or if you are wearing green sunglasses.

Micro management gone crazy.

Why the fcuk curved swords and not all swords?
If labour are still in power next election there will be trouble.
as a complete and utter wnaker once said
"Its not treason to take back my country if it is under an incompitent goverment, if a thieve takes your money, does that make you a thieve for taking it back?"

What I love is that the law bans all swords under 100 years old: thus all the Jap swords that the Forgotten 14th Army got hold as mementos and trophys are now illegal.

Are any HMF current issue swords curved? I know my RA rapier is straight edged, but some Cav ones? I can't wait to see some PCSO summon armed plod to a forces wedding because there are some criminals waving banned weapons around in public.

As has been stated, all such offences carried out with swords (about 60 a year) were already covered by existing legislation. NuLab are just a bunch of posturing student union cúnts.

Dread

PS Plod have even forced some theatres to ensure that their props are stored securely. i.e. a plastic or wooden 'sword' having to be stored in a steel locker with the same security as shotguns or rifles. CÚNTS!
