Yet everyone of them seems to start every sentence with “Let me be absolutely clear”!
The problem with some of these splitters is they seem to be enjoying their moment in the spotlight a little too much - Soubry in particular.
The country needs strong leadership and yet as per usual, it’s all about them.
Not only Strong, but stable......that went well

so the independent group of mp's now have 8 labour and 3 tory mp's?
so what is the policy of the group and are they on the left, right, centre or the throw teddy out of pram policy?
They need to start with the formation of a party at local level, recruiting members, collecting wonga, get a central office somewhere. Hit the road running? local elections in May and two byelections on the cards ( Peterborough when the sitting MP comes out of the stir)?

It's simples, they left so that they could remain, but politically they're all centre left

But they're more of a continuity remain party that's what unites them

Anyone from Newcastle? Here is a candidate to be Mayor of the top half explaining his view on Brexit. It's good to see some clarity after 32 months:

They will be the equivalent of the ERG in the future. Manic Rejoiners, frothing at the mouth from the backbenches, like a mad ex wife locked away in the attic, and blighting Prime Minister's for decades to come.

I'll have know that he set out a fully correct nd complete representation of the current Labour Party policy on Brexit.

Whatever it is

We are indeed blessed that the Tory Government has a much clearer idea of the way ahead.

It would be nice if they could unite and consider the country before their own self interests.
Self interest is the only country they know.

He could have been asked any question and would have produced an answer like that. It's what they do best in Labour. Hence the frothing when JRM dismantles one of them, with an answer.

But there's that finite skill between looking an like an indecisive twat who bluffs his way through using worn-out soundbites and bluff, and a linguistically able politician who dances rings around interviewers.

JRM is the latter
This Labour twonk and many of his ilk, are the former.

From Sky News, Jess Philips sympathises with Labour defectors and doesn't rule out following them. Liz Kendall rules out leaving Labour. Angela Rayner goes further and expresses disgust at former Labour colleagues being joined by former "Conservatives". The hatred clearly runs deep.

LIVE: Labour 'disgust' as three Conservative defectors join Corbyn critics
Phillips hates Corbyn. She doesn't hate his politics. She is staying put, but will twist the knife in Corbyn's back given any and every opportunity. It's personal with her, despite her repeated claims of indifference toward the man.

Interesting my earlier post about the absence of the pro Labour types being quiet about anti Semeticism has attracted a sabc from Mothman, clearly he still thinks it's not a problem, that or he just doesn't read things just knee jerk button flails. It could be either given he claims to have done more than the Queen.
