Labour about to split?

If this lot do take off and make a go of it could it be the end of the road for the Limp Dems?
Lib Dems have not been forgiven for tuition fees and other compromises. Maybe some of them carry some credibility with their potential voter base but they have been struggling to be taken seriously. Maybe a merger and rebrand could work this time. Polls (cough) suggest TIG are might get twice as many votes as Lib Dems for what that's worth. Who knows what they would be called? Maybe ditch the Democrat bit since they don't seem to believe in it.

All this Remaining in the one thing but Leaving the other thing is getting a bit confusing

Politician's, can't make their bloody minds up about anything
Yet everyone of them seems to start every sentence with “Let me be absolutely clear”!
The problem with some of these splitters is they seem to be enjoying their moment in the spotlight a little too much - Soubry in particular.
The country needs strong leadership and yet as per usual, it’s all about them.

I bet the Labour Tiggers are now wondering if she is a secret weapon sent to wreck them by Conservative Central Office.

Not surprising really, as it's standard practice amongst the hard left to espouse socialism whilst accruing personal wealth.
Ah, you've been conversing with our Oirish Red haven't you? The One who makes about €30 a year from the sale of his books (ISBN 0 0000 0000 0). He doesn't declare this source of income for fear of being labelled a capitalist running dog, except on these hallowed pages where everyone treats him as a lonely old man lying bastard.

It would be nice if they could unite and consider the country before their own self interests.
They do, frequently. Every politician you will ever meet will tell you that he only has your interests at heart, but none of the buggers will give you a couple of quid for a new motor!

Certainly after last night's party political broadcast with Vince Cable looking as sincere as Hughie Green, saying we should vote for them because we need a 'people's vote'. I guess the referendum voters were robots, rabbits or rhubarb?

The one with a Swiss safety deposit box where he keeps his Desert Eagle and who ran the Mafia off his Heroin selling patch in Italy?

Tories: "Well sorry to see you go. Nice if you do come crawling back one day."

Labour:"Traitorous scum, go die on the end of a pointy stick. Begone with you."

Labour MP was telling just how wearing it is having a Momentum activist ridden CLP on your back 24/7. The entire point of their presence of course but a good number of Labour MP's simply have their heads down because they will not be standing for reelection.

So if you are not a "name" MP, have a good chance of being deselected and little to no hope of winning as an independent MP, why not bail now into the new group?

The answer may be found in the term "Union Sponsored"

As the unfortunately-not-late Jimmy Cricket used to say . . "And there's more!"
