  1. With the amount of Nuclear power stations the world now has up and running, i am concerned with the amount of Krypton 85 being released into the worlds atmosphere.

    Krypton 85 is what causes cancer, and with 1 in 3 of us is now expected to contract this cunting thing in our natural lifetime.

    Makes you fucking wonder if this deadly nuclear by-product is being used by stealth to naturally thin out the 7 Billion population problem!

    They plan to solve the 7 billion population problem not by having 1 in 3 contract cancer but in fact by incapacitating Superman so he isnt there to help out in any world/nuclear disasters.

  6. Rather pointless being concerned about it now, isn't it? Anyway, a Geiger counter will tell you there's really bugger all radiation in the atmosphere (in Wales) to worry about, as my mate's did the other week. It's cool.

    not listed as a carcinogen or as a potential carcinogen on EPA, NIOSH, GERMAN MAK, OSHA, NTP, IARC, or CAL/OSHA
    Carcinogen lists.

    About 5 million curies of the isotope was released into the atmosphere as a result of nuclear weapons tests between 1945 and the end of atmospheric testing in 1962. The 1979 accident at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant released about 50,000 curies of Kr-85 into the atmosphere[4] and the Chernobyl accident released about 5 million curies.[5] The atmospheric concentration of krypton-85 peaked in around 1970, when it reached around 10 picocuries per metre3. Since then the cessation of atmospheric weapons tests and the reduced production of plutonium has, because of the short half-life of the isotope, led to a sharp reduction in the atmospheric concentration

    A large nuclear power plant produces about 300,000 curies of the isotope per year, most or all retained in the spent nuclear fuel rods

    Or is this another side effect of Krypton 85?

    Yes, a potential carcinogen, under the right conditions. In other words, probably quite harmless unless you're snorting it, or in an unventilated room with a shitload of the stuff.

    As you just posted, the levels peaked at 10 pCuries per cubed metre around 1970. The average human body has 10 times that amount from naturally-occurring radiation.
  11. 85-Kr has a half-life of 10.7y. So all that was released during the 50-70s has pretty much bugggered off to Rubidium by now.

  13. If you think that lot is bad then how about the amount of chemicals in the water? Already proven that todays males have about 50% less gonad power than their grandfathers due to the amount of drugs that are being passed through the body and out in the urine and thus back into the water table.

    Probably goes some way to explaining why the western civilisations are so messed up.
