I'm thinking of joining a cav regiment, possibly the King's Royal Hussars.. I was just wondering about the type of operations you get to go on in the regiment these days? I've checked their site and they've recently been in Iraq - does anyone know where they might be going soon?? I think itd be exciting to see a bit of the world after I join! :)
Also does anyone have any advice on the advantages of joining a normal cav regiment like the KRH or one of the more fancy ones where you get to take part in ceremonial stuff?? Are the uniforms expensive?

thanks again!
Are the uniforms expensive, of course they are. If you go to a Regiment were you have to buy your own uniform, expect not to get paid for a few months, however you can make money back by posing in it for unfamily magazines.

Nothing normal anyway about the KRH
