knee pads

#1
Hi everyone, when i was at selection i realised they would love to let us kneel while we were doing team tasks. It was a pain because there were a lot of stones and tiny sticks that would poke me in my knees making kneeling very uncomfortable.

My question is, can we wear knee pads at basic training in field exercises where a lot of kneeling will be taking place with heavy bergens on our backs?

Im planning on buying a pair, but ive also heard i may be cussed out for putting them on.

what do you think?
