Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hi

i am after kit insurance unsure who is the best without paying hand over fist for it

any advice reagrding would be helpful

  2. Pax is usually cheaper than Naafi
  3. if you have normal household insurance try adding it to that.

Having household insurance and seperate kit insurance can cause huge problems when you make a claim as both insurers will try there hardest to state the other company is liable.

Also dont buy the cheapest policy avalaible most cheap policies are cheap for a reason normally that they dont pay any claims is they have any way out of it.

Make sure you cover yourself for adequate sums and remember to list any high value or high risk items like laptops or rolex watches.

Further advice available (apart from speeling advice that is) if you want to know any thing particular just let me know mate.
  4. You may want to try AXA they do a specialist kit insurance policy for us types!
