Jeez what a brave and articulate man to be able to be pragmatic at what must be a really terrible time for him, unfortunately I fear that his son and all the other servicemen and women have died in vain, because Britain will pull out before the situation out there has calmed, whether that be next year or in ten years....look how long Vietnam was!!
What a strong man, my son was injured in the same attack and thank god I now have him home. I know that my family have been though so many different emotions this week. I cannot even start to understand what he must have been through. I would just like to thank him for being a fine man, one him son would have been proud of Im sure.
NO parent should bury their child (Lord of the rings), I hope my kids will weep at my grave before, then again laughing like **** springs to mind. RIP, when will we learn? At the going down of the sun and in the morning WE WILL REMEMBER THEM! And the politician (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) bastards who sent them there.
We join up to do what we do!
I'm proud! But death is a day to day risk of the job we do.
In no way do i support the shite goverment that is currently in power.
And in no way do i support the war that we are undertaking in Iraq! (even though i have served there)
Bliar should be fcuking tried for his fcuking crimes! And i'm sure in time he will be!
What makes me proud is the fact this father accepts his son died doing his job! He's not bitching, not complaining that his son's dead, he's accepted the fact it was a risk factor of the job he undertook!
A shit factor at that but one that was put to us un neccasarily by the fcuking Labour Govt!
