Kids Company Charity Down The Tubes

Customers who bought this also bought: ‘WWI Dazzle Camouflage Use in The Royal Navy’, ‘LSD and Colour Perception’ and ‘Sew with Jane: Make your own Curtains’.
What's wrong with Dazzle Camouflage? It worked, didn't it? Still does, as I recall. The Mk 1 eyeball does start to ache after just a slack handfull of seconds of trying to focus on it.

Honestly, do you remember when fat hogs were the exception, not the rule and all the girlie girlie, poor girlie stuff was saying If you are big-boned ( ie a fecking fat git ), wear striped clothes and no-one will notice you are a fecking gross lump of lard...wearing a hippy's worst nightmare seems to have worked in this case.
Nope. Everyone still knows it's a tub and a half of lard.

So, the called for legislative reform on children's charities in 2016, is it happening?
I found this in the Chavs Online Mail Online search engine. (the link could already be somewhere on the posts current 168 pages over last 3 years, so apologies)
Bearing in mind that the first time I heard this demand was in the mid-70s when the 'Johnny Go Home' documentary exposed the 'Bishop of Medway' and various hostels which were nothing more than trawl nets run by/for pedos. *Not that I am suggesting that Kids Company had any of that going on*.

Was the call just another knee jerk, or a handy sound byte for an MP to get their name in print?

"Lessons will be learned", https://publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201516/cmselect/cmpubadm/433/433.pdf. The only legislation I know of (as an amateur) is the Children and Social Work Act 2017, AFAIK councils are unable to seek exemptions from social care law. Children have had next to no protection from abusers or "culturally intelligent future leaders" in fractured, chaotic corporate and government parenting. The Charity Commission seemed to be -in 2015-2016- a paper tiger.

Moreover -after a recent Judgement- abused children may not get justice in the form of compensation from negligent authorities in future. And referring to rife child abuse and grooming in hotels, B&Bs and 'hostels' inter-alia: several businesses are still failing CSE tests. Low rent news sources this morning are reporting thousands of child abuse victims denied compensation, after a court ruling halted claims against local councils.

Due, I believe, to the increase is air power. Dazzle camouflage works at, and only at, surface level. Other than that, it draws attention. It's a 2 or 0 solution.
Radar and more advanced range finders played a significant part in its not being judged effective.

Im not sure about airpowers significance as I understand it Dazzle was primarily an Anti U boat measure -

Mid Atlantic Uboats were still by far the bigger threat to commercial shipping air power was largely negligible** yet ships on the high seas were haze grey - It was the coastal stuff that got dazzle and disruptive patterns (I assume to hide itselk in the clutter)

**Stand fast the Pacific where arguably the situation was reversed from an allied perspective

According to appendix C of The Battle Of The River Plate by Dudley Pope, U-boats were responsible for 68.1 % of British, allied, and neutral merchant ship loss in World War Two, and aircraft 13.4%.

It was more complex that that, as convoys approaching the UK, or going down to Gibraltar and the Med, or to Russia, often faced heavy air attacks. Long range German aircraft flying from occupied France would not only attack shipping but pass on reports to the organisation that coordinated U-boat attacks - cannot remember the name.

Hence the first escort carrier (HMS Audacity) carried fighters and not Swordfish or other ASW aircraft, and carrier borne fighters were important in protecting convoys in hostile waters near to an enemy shore, as ASW aircraft were in fending off U-boats.

WTF? Why? What public interest is there in shielding local authorities from the consequences of their moral and legal failings?

Quite, and we'll have to draw our own conclusions. "Local authorities... moral and legal"... or "consequences": unintentional oxymoron perhaps.

The date on the last post says it all.....it's all gone very quiet on this shitty little scandal...perhaps because some very big fish are involved...I'm thinking pàrticularly about Alan Yentob...a man I strongly suspect was very well aware of all the paedo, sex, and other scandals going on at the BBC and has his finger in numerous pies, most of which smell of fish. No court case, no convictions, no-one in nick, no-one made to pay the taxpayers their money back. A perfect example of how utterly corrupt the 'Establishment' is today and has been for a very long time. Let's use the power of ARRSE...take 5 minutes to lobby your MP and demand parliamentary questions about this and demand action and justice for those who deserve to be convicted.
