Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I though our ethnic brothers were underrepresented by the Jubilee merchandising, money-machine so I knocked up a poster in the hope they would not feel so excluded or socially alienated...

Question is, is it racialist or should I print up a gross or two and fly-post them around Rushholme, Taliban Hamlets, Bratford etc.

  2. I reckon if you played your cards right you could sell that to Rushholme curry houses, make a nice framed poster. Hell it would make a great brand image for a chain of curry outs, KCCO.

  3. I agree, it's a great idea.
Of course you've stuck it in the public domain now so it will be shamelessly nicked and there's nowt you can do about it... ;-)

  4. Nice one, steal away!!

  5. KCCO, British nostalgia themed curry shops, featuring the Churchill Chicken Jalfrezi, the Bashing Gerry Bhaji, the Dambusters Dum Aloo, the Full Monty Murgh Masala, free chai in tin mugs, extra ration coupons for regular customers etc. Only problem I can see is opportunities for expansion into the German market are rather limited, Achtung Juden Jeera aloo anybody?

  6. ...and there's always this:

    Keep Calm and Curry On

Although I'm surprised there isn't a 'Keep Korma and Curry On' option.

  7. Bollox! Should of googled it!

  8. Just had a look at the menu:

    Chindit chapatis
    Montgomery's Madras
    Kitchener's kebabs
    Bomber Balti

for the bold among you, try the Spitfire curry challenge, as it's name suggests, that's what you'll be able to do after eating it.

  9. Shouldn't it be shitfire then?

  10. Was working on a Coronation street one as well, keep calm corry on...just googled it...been done!

  11. The Hurricane, a selection of spiced dals for the daring vegetarian.

  13. Is anyone else finding the whole Keep Calm thing just a teeny bit hackneyed, tedious and fucking dull yet? Or am I ahead of the bow wave of hate on this?

  14. Yes, it is a bit boring but the Curry one is the first to make me laugh for ages.
