KartForce - Karting for Injured Troops

Discussion in 'Charities and Welfare' started by DaveP, May 10, 2010.

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. KartForce is a new project aimed at providing karting with hand controls to our injured troops.

Our big launch event will be held on Thu 12th & Fri 13th Aug 2010 at Whilton Mill Kart Track. Everyone welcome.

We've designed hand controls that will replace standard steering wheels on karts so the karts can be driven with one hand only (left and/or right) or both. This means the karts will suit almost any injured lad, upto to triple amputees.

We're getting a massive response from celebrities - check out our web site to see the list of celebs that have left messages of support.

Once we get the first big event off the ground, we'll be able to set up all sorts of karting events all over the country, indoor and outdoor, all year round. We'd like to set up an international event against injured troops from other countries - USA, France, Canada, Russia, etc.
