Kajacki - The movie.

I just had a look at the cast as I worried it would be a vanity-fest for all the pseudo hard men of British cinema, but it appears to have several young and up & coming actors.

The young British cast is led by David Elliot as Corporal Mark Wright, with Mark Stanley, Scott Kyle, Benjamin O’Mahony, Bryan Parry, Liam Ainsworth, Andy Gibbins, John Doughty, Paul Luebke, Thomas Davison, Grant Kilburn, Robert Mitchell, Jon Paul Bell, Malachi Kirby and Ali Cook.

I've already marked Jonny Vegas to portray me if they ever make the movie.

You could request this guy, probably nearer the mark

I don't wear gigs.

Nah, Mark Strong. English accent and he appears to be able to pass for any racial profile under the sun.

Will there be a missing tyre wrench incident?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/afghanistan/11201527/The-Band-of-Brothers-forged-in-an-Afghan-minefield.html

Tells the story of a Para patrol that gets stuck in a minefield. Cpl Mark Wright lost his life, but was awarded a GC for his gallantry.

His family set up a worthwhile charity. The MarkWright Project.
When it gets released, whereabouts will you be able to watch it? Had a mooch about but can't seam to see anywhere it will be shown?

Anyone know?

I wonder if it will cover the shortfall of winches on military helicopters?

I'm aware of at least one survivor of that patrol that was awarded £1.7m.

Roger that. So its a general release at most cinemas? Just haven't heard much apart from the odd mention here and there. Cheers.
