JPA audits

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. How often, if at all should the husband expect an audit?

Seems as if every claim that gets submitted results in an audit!
  2. I spent eighteen months having every claim audited. It's no real hassle, and saves you worrying about the prospect of an audit a couple of years down the line.
  3. What's the problem? The auditor has the right to audit any claim he wants to, either that or hubby is making mistakes when he inputs them and JPA will automatically send them for audit.
  4. Every claim is subject to audit. If the claimant has made previous errors, or submits a large amount of claims then he will be audited for just about every claim, but at least he knows that the claims will not be picked up for audit, two years down the road.
  5. I was once audited for a travel claim from Aldershot to Wick (just south of John O'Groats, the clerk looked rather disapointed when I produced the receipts!
  6. 'Mistakes' is overstating it a bit. In my case, JPA did not accurately record my unit, so when I changed the UIN to the correct one, it was flagged up for an automatic audit.
